Retrospectives for Jira & Confluence extension to run remote Agile Retros in a convenient collaborative way.

Installation process

1. Install one of the Whiteboards apps:

  • If you want to add your retrospective boards on Confluence, install Whiteboards for Confluence.

  • If you are more interested in integration with Jira (converting post-its into Jira issues, or update them directly from the board), install Whiteboards for Jira.

Alternatively, you can install both apps to cover Whiteboards in Jira and Confluence.

Important: Although both applications are paid, you can use the Retrospective template in freemium versions of Whiteboards.
We recommend you trying full-featured Whiteboards during the 30-day free evaluation period and make a decision regarding purchasing them or go with the freemium option afterward. Licensing details and limits of the freemium option described here.

2. Download the Retrospective template file: spartez-retro-template-1.0.1.json

3. Open Whiteboards app from the Apps dropdown:

in Jira

in Confluence

4. Create a new board.

5. Name your board and click “Create” (changing a template isn’t needed at this stage).

6. Now, when the board is created, click the 3-dot menu button on the right-hand side area of the board and choose “Restore”.

Upload the template file you downloaded during the second step.

Now your retrospective board is ready to use!

You can save the board as a template, so it will be available next time when you will be creating a new board.

In case of any questions, check the Whiteboards documentation or contact our support team.
