This feature is available as a dark feature in Chat for Jira Service Management. Dark feature name is
Chat for Jira Service Management can be integrated with Slack. This integration work by forwarding chat customer's messages to a Slack channel. To respond to the customer, simply create a thread in the channel for the customer's message (or join the thread if it already exists). Your responses in the thread will be passed back to the chat customer.
So if the customer starts a conversation like this:
A message like this appears in a Slack channel:
Responding to this message in a new thread:
Causes your response to be sent back to the customer:
